Harriet Nauer

Harriet Nauer is a Swedish singer songwriter, musician and composer. Her first Ep was released in 2014, Standing by the Heavenly Gates, an acoustic, straightforward, storytelling Ep. When playing guitar she uses alternate tunings and partial capo for many of her songs. Her cinematic music emphasis on tune and atmosphere. Her fingerpicking style and expressive lyrics recall the 60-70s’ folk music wibe. She has acknowledged Bruce Springsteen, Johnny cash and Ben Howard as influences. Her dream like and escapistic lyrics explore life and what it is that makes us human. She describes her new Ep using three words; dark, beautiful and magical.
