Agent Steel is an American speed metal band from Los Angeles, formed in 1984 by vocalist John Cyriis. The band released two full-length albums and one EP before disbanding in 1988 due to issues with their record label Combat Records. They were most notable for Cyriis' high-pitched vocals, catchy songs, melodic riffs, and fast tempos -mixed in with an interest in UFO's, phenomena, and the Unknown.
Agent Steel reformed in 1998 (without Cyriis, although he did return to the band in 2010, only to leave again in 2011. The band reformed again in 2018 with Cyriis as frontman and without any original or previous members - and with an entirely fresh new lineup including new official bassplayer Kelly Conlon — a former member of the legendary deathmetal band Death, with whom the band released their first studio album in 34 years with Cyriis at the helm — titled, No Other Godz Before Me, with recent hints of a fifth album on the horizon — tentatively titled, Madjestic - to be inaugurated by an introductory mini-album release titled, The Lords Money.
Johnny Cyriis has organized a stellar new lineup who are ready to tour a blistering live show covering songs from the classic Agent Steel catalog as well as the latest release, the No Other Godz Before Me -album.. including some all new material from the coming releases “Madjestic”and “The Lord’s Money”.
